Found this under my seat

OK, found this under my drivers seat, on the floor.

I know where its from, it runs, under the seat, front to back, in a channel, along the door side of the seat.

Question, what is its purpose and is my seat still safe?

I can see where it hooks on the front, but the back hook point is definetely broked, as it has snapped off, and is also on my car floor.

Seems to be ok, I have it at the lowest setting anyway

I'm not sure what it does but its a 5 min job to remove the seat from the runner if you want to put it back

One of the spring retainers has snapped off, so it won't fit back on.

i have this too on my recaro's, lost it 4 months or so.

still no problems adjusting the seat hight....

Thats what I've just fitted mate but blue/black.

Very easy to put in and I know what wires to connect for the airbags if your thinking of getting them

I didn't tell mine, first she knew was when she came round and I had them all over the kitchen wet vac'n them

There one hell of an improvement over the standard seats

they dont care as long as they geting in a nice car she never helps me wash and clean mine different when she says o just goin to her m8s in ur car and gone 4 hours sure she goes driving around
