FR 170 driver mirror damaged

Hi all

Bit of a lurker not a poster.

Knocked my wing mirror today and its now flopping around and I cant reattach it I think its a garage job.

Wierd thing is the passenger side mirror is now misbehaving also a result - is this normal? Are they linked in some way?

I dont know if anyone else here has done the same - any idea as to the cost to put right?

They can be linked in the MFD menu, I had my drivers side one smashed but luckily the mechanism was ok just replaced the cap luckily.

even if you need a complete unit, its only around £50 providing you can reuse the glass. bit of a pig to fit tho . . . .

I had to get a new glass for mine and got 2 new covers as I had painted mine and wanted them to match, cost me £40 I think....

Thats a good price, Im sure over here they are around £150.00 complete!! - if so perhaps we should buy all our spares in Irelend!!
