when i got my fr, specs of cupra and fr were identical bar the suspension which i planned on changing anyway. The only difference between the interior of the fr and cupra at the time i bought it were the seat stitiching

Doing the maths with these options for a 3 Door;

Metallic Paint
Convience Pack
Comms. Pack (Standard on CUP and BOC)
Hill Hold
Xenon Headlights
Winter Pack
Centre Rear Headrest
Height adjustable seat
Sunroof

Below is price comparisions, top been the subject, side been the comparison

Reasons they are so different is due to some extras come standard on the cup and boc that the fr has as optional.

To me since the spec above is what I'm looking at shows that its a no brainer for CUP. BOC has a little more but I dont like the white stiching in the CUP so I think BOC it is.

FR still has beige roof lining (the one in the showroom did anyway.

Comms pack is not standard on the 09-10 model Cupra and Boc

Is the FR twincharged?

I thought it was only the Cupra / Boc's that were

Surley if its not the power delivery would be different even with a map because of thew turbo lag or am I just talking bollox as normal...lol

think it depends on the person tbh. I sure dont think that. If your the kind of person would pay double for an identical t-shirt which just has a lacoste logo on it then you might end up driving past a cupra and wish you had one. If your logically minded, then you will refuse to pay an extra £1500 for a mechanically identical car(bar springs, which most people change because they are too high anyway), its £2000 if you get a boc! I actually prefer the rear of the fr to that of the cupra and I also prefer the wheels on the fr.

I like the front of the FR, it still looks quite aggressive and does stand out from the normal ones, especially now they come with tinted headlights. I think the back of the FR's look a bit iffy though, they need the spoiler standard!

I know its a bit random but on Forza for Xbox360 the Cupra on there has FR alloys! I'm not sure if its a USA spec thing or something?!

Wait so would it be possible to place a CUP map on a FR TSI

You just get the same map for the engine, because they are identical engines.

The same remap that takes the Cupra from 180 to around 200 will take the FR from 150 to 200.

UK spec has the Sira Alloys on the Cupra, but some European markets (Spain for one) has the 'uk' FR wheels

Hmmm, if they want to mix and match across different markets I don't see why they didn't just let you choose which alloys you want! :D

It'd be easier wouldn't it!

Different markets want different levels of kit etc that they want [can sell] - eg in much of europe the 'bocanegra' is available in the FR trim as well

Yea until i saw somebody on here with a Boc FR I didn't even know they existed!

Don't see why they didn't bring them to UK.
