Are you wanting a cupra Oli coz everyone says buy a cupra buy a cupra , lol , buy what you want mate not what everyone tells you you want , its your money you have to pay the running costs

I know mate. The was I do want a cupra but at the moment I can't afford it.

I like the supercopa think the come with really good standard spec and I love the dark grey but like Richie said it's the same engine, all I'm paying for is bodykit, exhaust and xenon's really.

If I was going from a 1.6tdi then it would be a big leap. Plus I hardly pay anything on this car because I had a PX with no finance so it would be mean paying over £100 more a month which I could save for a cupra.

the extra you would be paying for is bodykit ,exhaust , xenons , auto lights , auto wipers , sat nav , DAB , BBS 18s , 30k less miles ,3 years newer , manufacturers warranty not sure what else without looking in to it . question is
1 , is the extra money worth those things extra to you (if not keep your fr )
2 , if you wait till you can afford a cupra , how long is that wait going to be realistically
3 , whats your fr going to be worth when you can afford the cupra , are you going to end up settling for a cupra that is as old and has as many miles as your fr
also saving £100 per month is only £1200 a year, how many years saving at that rate will it take to get to cupra money ?
tbh if your really not sure and are having to think about it too much or talk yourself into it ,then theres probably a reason for that so don't buy it , there will always be another come along . only buy a car if it feels right .

Well that's the thing I am usually sensible with my money and aren't the person to go yeah buy this then think about it after.

But I see it as for £1000 more I could have a cupra r at the same age with the same miles but I just can't afford the extra petrol and ins at the mo. I'm due a big pay rise in January as I got a promotion in march and it's the whole 'go on then prove your self' then they will pay you more.

And because it was a great opportunity for me as alot of people in the account world in the motor trade don't tend to leave I couldn't complain about it.

End of the day there always going to available and I would rather wait a tad and be more comfortable than get it and be skint and scrape.

Oh and it had 12 month warranty left on It lol.

January is not that far away mate , if your not sure and you think you can afford the cupra next year then I would keep the fr ,there is nothing wrong with it , its not about to pack up so there is no rush.
for me a cupra will have to be a weekend car there not made for sitting on the duel carriageway going nowhere every morning and afternoon sat in traffic

This is it it's not like it's got 100k on it and need to change. It's only takes me 7 mins to get to work and I'm usually in early so traffic won't be a problem.

Might buy a Hyundai.........

Yeah but I rather be that than always putting money on CC and taking ages to clear ect.

However I do love the supercopa's and especially in that colour, as most are white.

ahhh Hyundai I hear the i10 is a stunning machine but for me my heart will lie with the beautiful Daewoo Matiz ,lol

What about the mighty Suzuki Wagon R ? An accountant might appreciate the low running costs..... :D

Get a push iron, if you only live 7 minutes from work, save yourself big money over the next 6-12 months and buy a 2nd hand GTR ;)

From what you said , that is probably the right decision , if you bought a supercopa you would want to keep it for at least a year or so :)
