this is going to be an obvious one for most of you so apologies in advance.

Is a fr with a superchip bluefin chip on it going to have the same power as a standard cupra:confused:

superchips will give around 240 on an fr on stage 1, but yes with the extra torque you should be just about quicker than a cupra, there really isnt that much in it though. if you want to be able to leave a cupra behind then you really have to go stage 2 with a down pipe and maybe even an intake. but then, even stage 1 cupra will still destroy you

I think this question needs to be looked at further.

Does he mean a 170-FR with a blue-Fin if so then no a standard Cupra will eat it up.
The FR would only have 197bhp using a blue Fin.

Doubt it would eat it up a standard FR TDi is only a second slower in gear so a chipped FR TDi would be slightly quicker in gear but slower off the mark. The usual power v torque v gearbox ratio stuff..........................

I ran my standard FR Tdi against what i assumed to be a standard Cupra and it did indeed eat me up lol I hope to run into it again after my de-DPF and see the outcome ;)
