Is there any chance of SEAT making this ? the 170 + DSG box is already in the Passat, Golf, A3 but why not in the Leon ? dies anyone think it will ever happen? if not has anyone retro fitted the flappy paddle wheel to the 140 version ?

you can retro fit the flappy paddle top a 140 DSG, they're are some posts about it on the site if you search.

Still cannot belive SEAT have not allowed the 170 FR to have the DSG yet, seems stupid.

Is will be nothing to do with Seat. It's their parents VW & Audi that won't allow it. Alot of things are blocked in the nicest possible way to show that VW and Audi are ''slighter'' better. Just look at the performance stats. Get any Seat rolling roaded and i bet 75% will be more powerful than publicised. Mot cupra drivers are getting 250/260, most FR drivers would be getting more power than the Golf GTI.

I certainly know my FR 170 goes from 0-60 quicker than 8.2 seconds. Check what the Golf GT 170 does it in. 8.2 seconds. Bollocks

My very first 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) try was 7.67 seconds. And that was on wet asphalt, with some wheel spin at 1st gear.

Is that a standard 170? What about a mapped one?

tunit for leon fr 170 tdi

Hi all, just joined today. Have got a 57 chrono yellow fr tdi 170 18`s and few toys
Just had a tunit fitted yesterday, and to be honest, was not impressed at all, was expecting to be astonished by £500 tag, but it was wet, and i was on roads i did not know.
Just driven on motorway coming home from work, and found there is a hell of a lot more power in 4-5-6 gear, upset a focus st owner anyway!
Hopefully at weekend will be having a k and n panel fitted, and get it on the rolling road.
they claim 195 bhp, but the car they have on demom, regularly hits 207 bhp, they reckon 210 with panel.
So fingers crossed

Anyone else had any good results?
