Hi, now that my car is fixed I'm booking it into ***** performance in two weeks or so for dpf delete and remap I have a panel to fit also, my question is it it worth popping a miltek cat back on? What would the bhp gain be by having one or is it minimal for the 400 price tag.

Id say minimal, especially for the price, get yourself some decent tyres instead, it'll make more of a difference

+1 with graham, minimal gain but you're right, they do sound pretty good for a diesel. Go non-res if u do decide to go for it.

What map r ya going for? Smoke or no smoke!!??

235bhp apparently for the smokey one, although it's very smokey. Take a look at bigs old RR thread towards the end as he had it done, even think there's a vid somewhere in there as well

Will have a good read through once I get home from work, what map did you go for? And what bhp did it run?

I had the JBS dpf-delete and custom code map. it probably puts out 210bhp/330lbft max, although I've not have it dyno'd. Still feels qwk though. should really go get S***k remap it, the guys who've had it done don't stop raving about it

Wish I didn't have a mega commute as I'd love more power and I'm afraid 220bhp is the most you can get out of the PD170 without going illegal smokey or big turbo kit (300bhp) and that’s about another £2k before labour. have a look at http://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/, they're doing some interesting stuff with dervs

I'd be happy at 220, coming from a type r this doesn't quiet feel as fast but should do once it's been played about with,I had a look at the smokey map makes great power but don't know whether being that smokey would get annoying. Il have a look on that site. Going to give the car a polish tomorrow and put some pics up if I've posted enough times.im lucky that I work in Nottingham so ***** isn't to far away.

Have a look at Stattler.net mate, i had mine done there, achieved 220 with no smoke and without the dash lighting up like a Christmas tree.

Stattler come highly recommended! They are based in Sheffield 5 minutes from the M1.

yes mate, did loads of research on here before i had it done, was all set for ***** doing it, then i came across Statller, glad i did as it was over a ton cheaper too.
