Front fog lights

Hi All,

My 2002 Toledo has started a rather annoying fault. When i turn on the cars lights my front fogs are coming on too. i have checked that the knob is full in.

I can with a bit of fiddling pushing in the knob harder (oooh matron) get them to turn off. Has anyone got some experience with taking the switch apart and checking its condition.

You need to push the switch out from the back really which is a right PITA, lower dash is time consuming to remove and fiddly to put back right.

I wouldn't mind betting that the casing has just dropped away from back - it's only on tiny little barbed clips.

push the switch in and turn opposite to the lights on

just pops out in your hand

not sure if you need it turned to lights on first then back from memory but is p1$$ easy

given ya knuckles time to heal then ?

post up exactly which way it is as i havent done one for ages and its worth noting - its basically in firm and opposite to the usual way iirc
