Front grill - mesh

I saw a pic on here a while ago of a front grill, owner had taken out the vertical ribs and the S and replaced the whole thing with mesh. I think it was a yellow ref sport if I remember right but I can't for the life of me find it again and wanted to have a better look as I was tempted to c how it looks on mine.

Any one got any idea or happened to subscribe to the thread?

Thanks

I'm tempted to attempt to just make it myself

Ye remove the slats then put some plastic in with some filler, rub it all down and spray it. Then fit some form of grill behind it all

Not sure if its the one your on about. Have a search on amazon for sumex grill 95 seat Leon front grill. Looks similar to the pic in the link above.

Cant you acheieve the same effect by just deleting the original front vertical slat grill & leaving the 2nd layer of Mesh grill behind?

I'm interested in doing this to my Cupra R as well (as I got the body kit on it so you get the vertical slats instead of the honeycomb mesh like you normally would on a Cupra R). I did ask the dealership to try putting the original honeycomb mesh in to the body kit but they said the original one is a slightly different shape and size compared to the body kit one so they couldn't (which also means I've got nowhere for the front R badge to stick to). So I'm not sure if you got a honeycomb one off ebay or wherever if it would actually fit into the BTCC body kit...
