Emergency guys.

Tried to refuel today and fuel cap wont budge. Think the actuator may be a goner. Does anyone know if there is an emergency release and where? Took the boot lining and plastic trim away from behind the cap but can only see wiring looms. No cable release of any sorts. Manual as usual useless.

Running on 0 miles!

Thanks!

I'd call Seat Assistance or something.. Make them come to the petrol station and fix it there

See my thread re same issue. Whole petrol flap replaced under warranty no problem ( sorry actually AdamC11 started the thread)

Had the same problem other week, called seat assist out, they broke the latch with some trim removal tool.
Had the whole thing replaced under warranty.
Give the seat assist report in when u take the car to the dealers so they can't wrangle out of it.

Inside the boot,on the filler cap side There is an emergency release for fuel cap hidden behind the side carpet panel. Once you have the flap open I'd suggest you spray wd40 onto the black Push button release next to filler cap. It will need a bit of manual plunging & spraying until well lubed. This is due to sticking over a period of time.

99% sure there is no emergency release on the mk3 Leon's.

There was a thread on here where someone stripped the inside of the boot looking for one and it didn't exist. Also the solenoid in the Leon is completely electronic, no manual wires are attached to it.

I'm pretty sure there isn't one too, the seat assist guy was trying to find it in the boot but couldn't.
As Chris said solenoid is electronic, once it's bust the locking plastic pin that usually spins and locks into the inside of the flap doesn't move anymore, so it stays latched onto the flap.
Only way is to replace the whole thing
