DEWSBURY - W.YORKS
Excuse my ignorance, but am new to the Seat Leon. Test drove a 2001 'y' Cupra yesterday. Was impressed, after got back to garage thought I would see what sort of figures computer was showing, but couldn't find one. I apologise if I am been really stupid, but does it have one as standard, or was it an option?

Cheers,
Kev...
ps. would this be straight-forward to remap? as I know early Cupras were a little more difficult to do.....

It's a nobbly button on the right hand side of the wiper stalk (That is the one on the right isn't it?)

Don't know if it was std on the 2001 Y Cupra though....

i dont think it was standard. if you have one then on the end of the windscreen wiper stalkl be a button, (also on underside).

will be easy to map, i dont know of any reason why your car would be more difficult to map than any other leon cupra. perhaps you have been told early ones dont map as well as they have the K03 turbo not K03s turbo. of which you may have anyway. but either way it will map easily.

If im not mistaken the AUQ engines came with the KO3S turbo.well mines 2001 lc and has it:p
yeah Unfortunately,i t was an optional extra to get a trip computer

it was standard originally right in the centre of the speedo but was deleted from the spec about 2000/2001
