Fuel Flap

Just brought my seat Toledo 1.9 tdi 110. The thing is i think i'm missing something from the petrol cap to make it open from inside the car. The flap can just be opened my pulling it from the outside and the buttom doesn't do anything. Because i haven't had one of these before i don't know what it should look like when you open the fuel flap, should there be a wire coming out or something like that to keep the flap shut. All i have there is what looks like a metal clip.

I add the same problem!
What it was the flap clip was broken, I was lucky to get one from ebay with the same colour than mine for £35, I sugest you to look at the flap and see if is nothing broken in there!!!

Thats what it is on mine i think mate, what did you put in ebay to find one??? i can see the inside of it moving but there is no clip on it to hold the flap

I will say, go and look
sometimes you will find a few seat toledo and leon (is the same flap),braking and then just ask them if they have what you need.
mine was just pure luck!!!!
