People do it to get rid of the dual mass flywheel which is heavy and a known weak spot. It will also help with the revs as it spins up faster because its lighter. Only thing on the downside is a little bit of idle input chatter but it does no harm and goes away as soon as the cars on the move or clutch depressed. Its direct fit and you just need the flywheel, 12 bolts and the clutch. Part numbers are in the part number thread.

I have seen your car parked in there a couple of times as I walk through the park with my dog to take him for a run down by the river. I dont really know of any other MK3 Ibiza Cupra`s around to be honest, there does seem to be a few LCR`s though. What mods are you running? Have you had the car long? Keep your eyes out in the meet section as there have been a few Worcester meets but I am yet to attend any:(

I dont need to check it. VR6 flywheels have 10 bolts and a different pattern. If it has 10 bolt holes it wont fit a 1.8t. If it doesnt have 10 bolt holes it isnt a VR6 flywheel. It is that simple.

People are going to read this thread and maybe buy a VR6 flywheel for this convertion because you have said it will fit. When it doesnt they will be out of pocket and still without a flywheel that will bolt up.

Yes. I actually just wacked that part number into google as im not near etka and it comes up as a G60/ABF flywheel just through google. None say VR6.
