Looking at buying gap insurance when my new car arrives this is the first time i have bought new so have never needed gap insurance before.can anybody recommend the best place to buy it from or is it best to but it through seat?
Be careful to compare like with like. Some only cover the price you paid, some the outstanding finance, some will replace the car with a new one. Warranty Direct do the full range and get decent reviews but aren't the cheapest.
I went for ALA gap in the end. Hard to compare like for like. Never had gap before and don't intended to find out if they are any good!
Approx £120 for 3 years.
GAP123 seem to have good reviews too, return to invoice is probably the one you want, but the web sites explain all the differences. As above, check you insurance doesn't cover you for year 1, but you can take GAP out and defer the first year...
I went for Warranty Direct's replacement car policy at £199. Never bothered with gap insurance until I read the small print on my car insurance policy. They will only replace a write off in the first 12 months with a new car from UK stock otherwise they pay used market value. No chance of finding one like mine from UK dealer stock.

No, it is back to invoice price. Stick it in Google for the details.
I've no connection to them and never had to claim so no experience of their service. They took my money with no problems
