then you just need to figure a way of getting the front down :D

ive still got the 60mm springs at the back so its like a low rider. check this out. the front springs on the 1.4 are on the left, the 2.0 in middle and the ones that phil gave me on the right.

the 1.4 one was 35cm long, the 2.0 31cm but the spax was 27.5cm. 75mm drop!

... would be all the better for a good few Mk2's to be in attendance .

:D

I have a question; good few or few good?

One way and another while Eleanor's going to be of sound mind and body by then, she ain't gonna be pretty. Bit of peely laquer on the top of the NS wing and back of NS mirror, scuffs from tw..s in car parks all over the bumper corners and stone chipped like you would not believe on the front.

Still looks quite presentable, until you get up close...

Could possibly be a contender for some sort of endurance contest!

Question then is; would she be welcome? If so I'll book a ticket...

Fairy snuff. Just checking it wasn't all paint and polish... 'cos then I'd look daft, and I can do that closer to home ;)

Consider a September '99 Forest Green 8v Cupra added, then unless something really insane happens. Pretty much standard, really... little bit of mesh in the grille, 16's, dropped a little... that's pretty much it.

It's probably going to take me as long to wade through this thread to figure out exactly what's happening as it will to drive down... any chance of someone who has the plan to date down posting it seperately? If not, I'll just wade through this lot tomorrow when I've finished barking my knuckles rolling round under the car...

My nice new Koni StrT's are going on tomorrow and the tired old SSK's are finally getting laid to rest. Doing a few other bts while I'm at it, but basically just sorting it out.

I've got the booking form up now, we're looking at Sunday, wasn't it?

Do I need to do anything apart from the standard ticket form? Sorry if that sounds strange, I've messed up at Pug events before where you had to book stuff like joining a line of cars on a separate form so you could have the right bit of paper in your windscreen...
