Gauge wiring for 3 gauges

Ill try and be as clear as possible

I currently have a boost gauge and oil temperature gauge fitted

I dont like the way the previous owner has wired them in as the wires for the 12v headlight source are just going straight to the headlight fuse and are just wedged down the side of the fuse, surely not a great idea???

There are also wires going into the dimmer switch for some reason, the gauges do not dim so i dont see why they are here??

I now have a volt gauge to install

Can someone tell me the best way to wire all 3 gauges from the same headlight wire, more importantly a safer, better way?

Can i solder the wires for all 3 gauges together then solder those to the 12v headlight source?

Didnt realise you could do it from there

Im going to run them off the headlights tho simply for easy access to them

I know where the wires have got to go, just wondering the best way to run wires for the 3 gauges from 1 headlight wire.

Is the a connector i can buy or do i just twist them all together and then connect to headlight wire?

Im mechanically minded but not very electrically minded lol

scotch blocks dont seem to work all the time ,most of the time they dont even cut through the outer rubber through to the wire
