Gauge Wiring

Bought a new boost gauge for my mk3 Ibiza Cupra. Ok with the vac pipe and t-piece just unsure on the wiring to illumionate it. This diagram came with it. i know where the black and purple wires connect to but can anyone tell me what i can connect the yellow and orange wires connect to? cheers

they are fixed into hte headlight switch. there is a pic on here somewhere showing it, or try http://www.seatcupra.net/users/pabs/guides/gauges.htm

cheers, thats what i thought, does anyone know which wire in the headlight switch:

brown is the GROUND connection for the bulb. The 2nd cable from the left (white/blue I THINK) is the dimmer wire, so connect the +ve connection here. Your wiring should now look like shown.

so my four wires - i should connect black wire to the brown earth/ground and the other three wires (yellow/ orange / purple) to the dimmer wire?

why on hells name have you got 4 wires? it only needs a +ive and ground.

to do with the illumination, apparently it can illuminate either blue or red
