flywheel is in at work but skiming the face is going to be harder than i thought!

bead blasting would give it a nice ruff effect BUT not necisarily flat!

need to get the dowles out to skimp the pressure plate lip also!

hope i dont have to fork out for a new one!

dam flywheel.

little update,

installed my wot box,
sprayed bumpstrip
instaled new header tank
new 6x4" back box is here
new gearbox oil



still waiting for flywheel!

here is the whole setup
6 puck solid center stage 4 vr6 clutch with 3000 lb pressureplate and lightend and balanced 14lb g60 flywheel

need to get out to the workshop to get my gearbox back in and do some finishing bitas and bobs

re-wire some abs bits
new windscreen
cut and weld magnex backbox on
put my x2 cats in for MOT

list goes on and on.

great work and great readers ride. 1 thing, have you uprated your rods yet as the wot box will bend the standard ones in no time, infact i give it hours. seen 3 lcr in the last month have this problem.

thanks sam,

well to be honest they are on my to-do list but i cant find them in stock any where. i want IE RODS. need the 20mm wrist pin type ( engine code AYP )

hopfully the rods will last untill i can find some.

May look into this as Im ready for a clutch and unsure what to go for.

Also, how did you smooth the rocker cover or did you buy it like that?

i smothed the rocker cover with an angle grinder and some chemical metal.

i went for wrinkle black paint but never worked out so a few coats of high build primer and white :)
