Hi Guys
Big problem with Gearbox.
Other day could not select reverse. Tried numerous times, went away from the car to get someone to help push it out of the parking space. Went back to it, tried reverse once more, straight in no problem. Drove home as normal, parked it, tried reverse once more would not go in.
With engine running, clutch disengaged, went though 1st to 6th gears all seemed OK, tried reverse once and went in no problem. However, when I tried to take it out of reverse, gear lever stuck, managed to get it back into the neutral position, but still stuck in gear.
Car has been my company car since new, just been made redundant, so they gave me the car as part of pay off.

Anybody know of a good Seat/VW mechanic in the Camberley ( Surrey / Hants) border area. Dont want to pay main dealer prices etc
