Gearknob swap

I just bought a seat sport gearknob but how do i remove my standard cupra one?? I thought i'd ask before i had a go as i tried to remove a mk4 gearknob before but i couldn't do it, Surely someone must know how to remove them without damage, thanks

take some pictures from outside the car. there is not pics in SEAT PICTURES, something happend to them and they don't work! cheers, peter

I bought mine off ebay for £31, BARGAIN !! if i do say so myself when asked for the part number this was my reply "The only number i can see is 5p1064320" it's different to chisel's gearknob mine is all metal, hopefully it will get delivered in morning here's a pic

this one is from ALTEA at it is much cheaper at the Seat dealer - something about 45 quid. but still - very good choise and bargain!
