gears?

had abit of play in car tonight when i lost 1st an 2nd when pulled up noticed also reverse so started drivin home.
got off motorway an i had 1st an 2nd got home an still no reverse.
it,s like there to far left to select them?
help please?

my god your post is badly written..

i guess you mean you lost 1st and 2nd gear AND reverse, you got on the motorway and it was fine when you came off, (you had 1st and 2nd gear) but you still cant select reverse.


i guess:

1) clutch is getting worn
2) the cables for the gear selecs have stretched and there fore you cant select certain gears

Hopefully an obstruction on the cable shift, check there's nothing dropped into it

sorted it was the c clip holding the cable 50p lol
