No nothing to make them stand out, the spacing was correct, although it doesnt look it in the picture i am affraid. i even said that the were German plates, but he was having none of it. Never mind, ive got the normal ones back on there. Area i live in seems to be swarming with cops recently.
so not worth the risk for me.

actually upon looking at this other picture, the spacing doesnt look right, although when i asked that of the copper, he said they were fine!!

There have been no end of people pulled around this way for these type of plates.

You can get a fine, a producer and you have to stick original and legal plates on and take it to an MOT station to get a conformity form stamped. That costs £10 (we are doing a lot of them atm)

The ANPR camers can't read them so ultimately you 'could' be done for fraud apparently.

hmmm not sure about davidol's ones... don't the German bits in the middle refer to tax n stuff? How has he not been pulled over?

I got the plates cos they were the closest to Spanish ones, that no-one seems to make.

i only got pulled the once for those plates, and that was during an "interesting" overtaking move i used £30 fine, oh well lol

Don't run a front plate.

Those ones look really nice, but they're a bit too different than I'd want to risk on the road.

Front plate is in the window at the mo and has been for the last few months, but have driven with nothing at all a few times!

Been lucky so far have been told to put it back on once, but only a matter of time!

I never used to have a front plate. Police won't necessarily pull you over for it, but if you're doing anythig else wrong (speeding etc) then you can expect a VDRS or a producer, and maybe a 30 quid fine.

Orderd mine yesterday should have them by tommrow, Went for Y445-*** in the end with the 2 stickers either side of the dash. German font, spanish border. somthing else getting fitted this weekend

indeed thats where i orderd mine from yesterday. depending what border you want. i hd to select the spanish border and add i wanted the german font in the paypal comments box should be here tommrow!
