German Style Plates

In short id say if you want it, it's acceptable. But yes a lot of people on here have them, quite euro look and it is a European car so.... I'd like a set myself but just never got round to it.
I'd watch where you buy it from to make sure it's legal.
(Edit: don't know if the laws for reg plates are different in Ireland.)

I'd say it's a mod too, it's changing for something non standard, so how's it not? Lol

Ok well I will concede on that front, I would call it a styling modification in some way, but a proper mod changes the design/bodywork of the car.

But hearing the views I agree if you want it go for it!

Cheers buddy I was half thinking along those lines but wasn't too sure seeing as seat are Spanish ya know , still trying to get my head around euro styling lol

I thought German plates or even German style plates were illegal unless you actually have a german registered car and then they are legal for 1 year only.

Well do you mean the actual german font and the blue band having a D? I've assumed you just mean metal pressed plates.
