thats right, just take it in and they'll put the software onto the car
give them a ring first mate :)

there's alot of revo dealers, how far's this one from you?

speaking from experience, the only thing i changed when i got my car mapped was a FORGE Recirc valve and FORGE TIP.

ive had the map for about 8 months and ive had NO major problems with hoses or anything like that (except for when one hose came off becuase the jubilee clip was loose)

But my clutch started to slip with the extra power, and that cost me a GRAND in total.
Just dont give it the beans until you are in mid-high rev - gives the clutch less stress...

i learnt the hard way, but now my style of driving has changed with the new clutch.

You know on that n249 mod, is it possible to get the one end of the pipe that goes to the n249 and join it with the pipe going to the dv, i appreciate they are different internal diameters but if you had a joiner that was the right diameter on one end for the pipe going to the n249 and the other end of the connector was a little larger to go ont the pipe going to the DV, that would work, no?

a grand for a ****ing clutch..... say whaaaaat! revos around 15 mile away, but on the subject of clutches mine the original and the cars on 100k, a revo might just finish it off ha ha, iv had no slipping as yet but that extra stress could sort that out. iv seen clutches for £150, have been told to use g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch when mine goes????

armo it looks pretty easy , but me being a northerner wants to save some ££££ so instead of buying the extra pipe, which will probably be pennies, im gonna machine an adaptor at work on the lathe

the pipe is £4 from ap, made by auto silicone hoses, its 4mm iv just bin lookin. it looks easy but im a spacker when it comes to engines, i can do basics like oil changes but il end up putting the wrong pipe on the wrong connection and my dv will end up a turbo or summat lol

in fact, im a spacker cos you can use the joiner to join the pipes together coming from dv and the other one. same internal diameter i think. i hope this makes sense

in fact scrub the last post, they do look like different pipes externally so ill just get the vac hose like the guide says. :D

what gearbox do you have? I think you can only use that on the 5 speed?

just realised, it aint as simple as i thought it was, that guide was written for the LCR, not the LC, which is what I have and looks far more complicated.

not the LC, which is what I have and looks far more complicated.

Here it is is in pictures and the hose you take off the dump valve put a bolt in it and secure out of the way.

Cheers Lee, by the way what filter are you running on your car?

give the lc a proper blast today with the new cone and its defo more responsive mid range and up towards the redline, sounds lovely too! top mod for next to nowt

armo, did you put the little breather on the pipe that used to go into the airbox?

Lee, you know you say the pipe you take off the dump valve and put teh bolt in, well where? i se the std dumpvalve in your pics with 2 connected black pipes and one blue vac hose

it's now tucked out of the way.
The blue hose replaces the standard pipe, so the standard pipe gets bolt in it and a jubilee clip to keep it tight.
