Ok my Ibiza is over 3 years old now so I'm starting to think about Vag-Com.

I have no idea about HEX_CAN, HEX_USB, MICRO-CAN..........WTFand I can't see any stickes/labels to do with "name of my interface", this is some sticker near the com port in the car I take it.

Thanks very much for the compatibility chart, I have just downloaded the HEX+CAN interface as mine is a 2005 ibiza.
Now all I need (I think) is a cable, any suggestions?

The only interface that will work with that software for the HEX+CAN is one of our HEX+CAN interfaces which can be purchased directly from Ross-Tech or from one of our distributors. There is no other option as the current version of VCDS requires a dongle interface. Dongle interfaces are only available from RT.

Could always buy the factory tool for $7.5K - that is quite expensive. VCDS is a fraction of that cost yet gives the performance of the factory tool.

We do understand that value is what is important. Only you can decide if the value is right for you.
