Yeah BlackFR broke the "Oil filter removal tool" but it came in handy to open the wiring loom clips

I've had an idea for engine removal... Push car forwards onto drive, jack up and support engine, undo the bolt holding the front subframe on and lower car back down, push car backwards away from engine No need to find "2 strong lads" then

No I think better is to unbolt the bits I want ie gearbox, then chuck the rest in the boot of the black Ibiza that will be parked nearby... Unless you think it'll clash with the xplod...

Sounds like an interesting way of doing it, how will you put the new motor in?

Its much easier with an engine crane, I achieved this in 3 hours
