Getting Fault Code 19558 and 19557

19558/P3102/012546 - Motor for Intake Manifold Flap (V157): No Signal
Possible Symptoms

Hard Shudder when turning OFF the Engine

Possible Causes

Fuse(s) faulty
Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157) faulty
Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157) faulty

Possible Solutions

Check Fuse(s)
Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157)
Check/Replace Intake Manifold Flap Motor (V157)
Perform Output Test

Seems to be quite a common issue but it happened straight after I put an EGR delete on. Would this be directly related?

My money says you've a BLT engine code and you've fitted the wrong type of egr delete.

That makes sense to be honest then!

I'm running custom silicone pipes etc. so the ASV doesn't really have space for a jubliee clip to go round it. Would there be any alternative options etc..?

Does the ASV need to actually flow any air in order to work?

Just needs its electrical connection. Retained mine to help stop overrun if it should ever occur
