Yep brackets are separate and have to be bolted on as they are quite long as I presume would get bent too easily in transport.

Right finished sanding the lower half down today - rather hot to be doing this is in the blazing sun in the garden !

Just need to bond the two together one night after work this week

Also picked up some wheels over the weekend. 18" Black Seat Sport BBS wheels. Someone else has refurbed them to a pretty good standard, its a shame something got caught in the paint on one wheel whilst the paint was drying, I've rubbed the portion down (its only about 15cm) with 1500 grade wet and dry so I can quickly repaint the area.

Rear bumper is in the bodyshop. Should be ready end of this week. New exhaust comes with a cutting diagram to show where to cut.

M600rkc, I don't know yet !! Waiting to get the bumper back from the paint shop. Dave @ sere said that the cupra r bore was 70mm and the fr was 65 so I'll probably just cut two slots down the back box to clamp it up, unless you can give me the size and spec of your reducer!

the reducer i bought was from this company mijexhaust and the sizes are To fit inside 65mm bore on the new cupra r box and fit over 55mm dia tube at the other end.
so you will need a 65mm od and 55mm id reducer sleeve.
is yours the tdi?

Do you know the place where to cut the old exhaust off? I got the parts needed but I have not

The exhaust comes with a fitting guide which I can scan in if anyone wants them. They are only diagrams and no writing!!! It shows what to cut on the car etc

I didn't want to do the rear in black as I haven't gone for a black spoiler or mirror caps and after all the K1 rear is also a lot of White so I think it'll look fine!!!

The part where the number plate goes looks great in gloss White and not a stupid mottled effect like factory black R rears

Worst case I'll take it back off and spray it black lol!

Ok, I'm considering to fit the milltek catback (when it's released) as I have European Cupra R.
