getting ready fot my jabba remap

im booked in for a jabba remap on the 26th jan

any tips on what i should do befor n anything i can do to get the most out of it

got things like forge tip dynatwist dv30 jetex cat back

My advice would be to make sure your car is runing 100% i.e MAF, Boost etc etc.

My car was mapped when I had problems with it & as of yet Ive still not sorted them meaning Im not benefitting from the Map yet

just that everything is mechanically fine tbh

but if your after optimal power, a dp/race cat wouldnt go a miss

Make sure you have fresh fuel in it, rather than 2 week old stale stuff.

good point, forgot about that, make sure its good fuel as well ie vpower etc ...

they do ask questions like this before they start on it, what fuel you use etc ...

SHELL optimax or tesco is a higher octane than BP Ulti

tesco is fairly near!

well i booked up in dec i wanted it in for the end of this month

If you are getting it custom remapped they will map it for either standard unleaded (like mine) or vpower/Bp ultimate unleaded.

P.S. There is a good fish and chip place in the village(1 mile walk), or the garden centre across the road does food.

i guess you have never been? theirs nothing near jabbasport,apart from garden centres lol, its basically a barn in the middle of nowhere.

their damn good guys though, you will be impressed when their finished with it, i guarantee

You should get it mapped with the fuel you intend to use in it........... not just what's the best for the dyno

I always use tescos unless desperate, car feels sluggish on anything else!
so they book about a month in advance then normally?

fair enough, have read on their website they've got an xbox and wireless so i'll prob just take my laptop and some sarnies!

like mork said, no point using different fuel just for slightly better figures, use the fuel you use everyday

they have a xbox their yes, loads of DVD's too and wireless, so you wont get bored in a hurry
