If you want better results you should stick to better fuel, not just what you read on a dyno printout, id like 240bhp but as long as it pulls strongly and makes me smile Im not that bothered!

what sorta torque n psi should i hit

im boosting 10psi as std i herd that that was quite alot 4 std

My car was remapped for standard unleaded (Ibiza Cupra AQX engine code) here is the graph, but this is from their old rolling road:

Jabbasport.jpg

Tends to peak at around 17psi and then settle to 15psi.
Please take the graph as approx don't want to get into a rolling road debate.

I think once corrected it reads 199bhp and 309Nm of torque.
P.S. My car was completely standard before the remap.

I think when you tune them both for real big numbers the AQX tends to make slightly more, there have been threads on here about it in the past.
The AQX is on the older mk3 Ibiza's (mines an X reg) I guess yours is a Y reg or later.

mines a x reg but i have a ayp engine the its registered jan 01 so maybe a later 1, never knew they had diffrent engines.

i was looking at a jabba map to for mine but i allready have revo installed when got car so dont think it be worth the cost to get it changed for what power increase id get.

good luck with it though hope you get soem good figures

AQX making more power is'nt true

fact is other than emissions theres probably no different between the engines, cupra_matt posted a thread not so long ago with some ELSA data which detailed the differences

your certsainly going to enjoy the drive home, i would get an FMIC on before you get it mapped.

Map can be made so much more aggressive, come summer your going to suffer.

But on the plus side, mike knows exactly what he's doing and will get the most out of the car safely for you. i would stick to v-power, mike laughed when a few of us went in with tesco 99 and bp ultimate, got roughly 15bhp more out of the map with having better fuel in.

theirs no point at all changing maps unless its for something worthwile, ie turbo upgrade/custom map etc .. and even then you can stick with revo

if your on stage 1 now just pay the upgrade to stage 2 if you have dp/race cat etc ....

Im going to be selling my revo stage 1 ecu soon for a jabba custom map, it may or not make any difference from stage 2 but id always be wondering so im just going to do it.

I made 196bhp with my mods, i was pretty chuffed with that got the FMIC going on in a couple of weeks then a T.I.P after that. Then see what the RR says!

as for the 15bhp gain using better fuel i find that abit hard to belive.

David.

figures arent everything though :)

Mike could probably get you a PEAK of something like 220bhp if he wante,d it would only last for 2 seconds then your graph starts falling due to getting hot, etc.

I know of 4 people with jabba k03's. All have reached over 200bhp with conservative boost, 17/18psi, standard SMICs. Even seen one with 219bhp with a blueflame exhaust/FMIC.

All of which hold to the redline very well, in all 3 maps ive had, i know which i prefer :) Seen so many graphs fropm different maps, and most just spiek in the middle and dont hold, hence why he will probably raise your rev limiter a tad also.

204bhp 227lbs tourque

i wer running **** of the **** fuel as well from jet the women at jabba said that that stuff was the worst i wer woried i wernt even gunna get 195bhp

they said that my jetex cat back system n my forge tip made alot of dif as u can c it went on the roller at 166bhp so those to thing mainly made an exte 10 bhp :D
