Basically I used a plastic scraper to remove ice and noticed earlier that it's marked the glass, side window. It's not a scratch you can feel with your nail. So I'm wondering if anything would be able to remove it. Could I use compound g3 ? Or would that be too abrasive? Any other suggestions greatly received.
Had a pretty deep scratch on my Cupra280 rear windscreen approx 3inches long which could easily be felt with a finger nail
It was caused by a some grit getting trapped between the screen and the wiper. Car was less than 1yr old and every time I looked at the rear windscreen thro the rear view mirror it did my bloody head in.
Ended up getting a mobile National firm in, which specialises in glass polishing. The polisher fitter came to the house and worked on the car on the driveway, the results where AMAZING.
Scratch has now completely gone.Theres no distortion on the glass or obscurity. Was really spectical that it would work but pleased I gave it a go. Saved me going down the route of having a new screen fitted.
