So I drive a 2016 2.0TDI Seat Leon St. I've recently had the engine management light come on and after getting a friend to check it over with diagnostics, (not a main dealer or specialist) he was able to confirm that it was a glow plug that had gone, I just can't remember which number. More fool me. Though he would be able to re-check which number it is.
Having checked online I've seen there are glow plugs without senors and glow plugs with and I'm unable to tell if my car has a pressure sensor type glow plug. Having checked under the cover, from left to right 1,2 and 4 number glow plugs look skinnier than number 3. I've attached some photos. Apologies they aren't great as they were taken in the wet and dark.
There seems to be a significant price difference between standard glow plugs and the type with sensors too (in the region of a £230 difference) checking euro car parts. If it's normal glow plugs I'm gonna replace them all. I don't know much about cars or the best place to check for parts so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
