Seat Leon Cupra ST Mk 3

Has anybody bought quad tips from eBay/online. I'm Wanting to buy some that fit the stock diffuser without having to chop out bigger holes. Also what are the pros and cons to welding Vs clamped.

Do you want to use them on the stock backboxes? I changed the stock exhaust tips over for some ovals not too long ago. I clamped them using U-bolt clamps and they are holding up fine.

The height can be finetuned by lowering the exhaust mount.

Inner diameter: 51mm
External Width: 150mm
Total length: 170mm

You can go a little bit wider than 150 and you will still clear the diffuser.

Thanks for the response. Il check that out. Yer ideally just for aesthetics. So weld to the stock back box would be the way to go of it's possible. I think golf Rs are too big anyway at 220mm wide. So I need to go for somewhere in-between. Like you say 150 is max. Thanks for the info ,?

I bought the tips from Aliexpress (about 70 euro for a set), lots to choose from Good luck with your choice!

What was the quality like from AliExpress and how long did they take to come? Really wanted Golf R but they are far too big. But then I don't know if 150 approx quads will be too small. Need to do some more research.

Tip are just for aesthetics, aren’t they. No sound change. Quads do look nice on the STs.

Yerla mate. Just like the look. But need to find some that fit without having to butcher the rear bumper

Very happy with the quality, but it can be hit and miss. Took about 3-4 weeks to The Netherlands for me.

I bought these ones, 51mm in 150mm out
