For me the S3 is the best looking of the 4 platform sharing cars (Audi S3, Octavia VRS, Golf GTi/R and Leon Cupra), but 2 major problems with it.

1) Audi Badge = Every person thinks you're a nob

2) To steel a Clarksonism, it under steers like a cross channel ferry despite the 4WD.

3rd problem for me anyway is boot isn't big enough either.

Next best looking car (IMO) is the Octavia VRS, the Saloon has a bigger boot than Leon ST (below the load cover anyway) However I cancelled my VRS order as after driving the Cupra, 220/230bhp wassn't enough :D

Golf - well every Tom **** and Harry has one, and I honestly think out of the 4 choices, its the most boring of the cars, and the most hideous of the estate cars (not that you need an estate for the Octavia).

I like the golf estate....has a certain utilitarian appeal for me.

Ive also gone R to 290 - just waiting till December!

Anyone got a picture of Dynamic Grey as I havent seen one yet?

Only seen one in the flesh and that was after I had ordered the monsoon grey..... Wished I had gone for dynamic as soon as I saw it.

Saw my first dynamic in the flesh today. Think I'm in the minority when I say I'm happy I went with silver.

I've been very happy with my SS 6500 Crossaction.
It wasn't cheap but came complete wth Bluetooth and pressure sensors.
Unfortunately it doesn't boast satnav but redlines at 8800 rpm and the only things that rattle are my teeth.

It's best described as Blu-tac colour i think. But motability blue is close.

Why do VAG label their colours so poorly?
I ordered the R in Limestone Grey, found out it beige, promptly changed to Lapiz. And now this is blue:D

I'd say most people would look at it and think it was white unless it was sat next to an actual white car.

It does look white or very light grey most of the time but does have a bit of a blue tinge. I think it's a nice colour. Not as common as white and not as boring as mid metallic greys. I'm possibly not the bet judge though as I also like limestone grey. I find it far more interesting than the likes of VW carbon grey etc.

It's certainly an interesting colour. I've had nothing but positive comments about dynamic grey cupra. As it's a pearlescent it changes colour with lighting.
