Getting cheap car ins is the only perk I can think about getting older, 63 (except maybe wiser) My renewal for the 280 is £282.23 this year (Sheilas Wheels, dont laugh they were less than parent Esure) and that is with for life NCD protection.

I agree but when I retired I had to put in what I do for a job (Retired) and I thought it would reduce the cost further.
But the insurance company said No because you have more time to drive, even though I put a low limit on my driving milage.

Having said that compared to a lot of people I pay very little considering the upgrades on my car vs stock for others.

Read the small print though I have seen no admin fee unless its impacts cars power on other insurance companies.

I have been with them for a while now, in that time I have had private plates on and off all cars, fitted tuning boxes and no admin charges.

Think I paid £320 for my Stage 2 Cupra when I last insured it, Porsche went up about £100 but expected that.

**** paying 3K or 6K

the main killer here is PostCode

I've tried all the usual "Club" sponsors over the years and they not very cheap due to the area.
