Just had a quote for the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s for £150 a tyre, I take it this is a good price?
Or the Pirelli P Zeros for £136 a tyre.

Bite their hand off mate (and share where you got the quote please!) - cheapest I could find was £181 fully fitted. Does your quote include all of that out of interest?

Funny enough it's from quick fit however it's not including fitting as I'm getting my alloys refurbed so they are changing the tyres over then. They are definitely the Pilot sport 4s. I Need to ring them this morning and see when they can get them as I believe there is short stock everywhere?

Got 2x Goodyear F1A3's fitted today.

Car came with Bridgestones all round and the drone off them was terrible. Really loud. I gave somebody a lift last week and once up to motorway speed they're looking at me going 'what the hell is that noise?'

Had a quick test run there and the sound of silence is brilliant. Noticeably better rim protection on the Goodyears too. Hopefully a feature I won't ever need to rely on.

2x 225/40 R18 92Y - £186.50 fitted through Blackcircles.

What kind of tire pressures are you using on the GY Asymmetric 3's?
I recon your tire size is 225/40R18?

225/35R19 and at the moment 2.9bar all around.
Fantastic grip on wet, 140-150kmh on motorway on water puddles without any problems.
Also on country roads on wet the grip is just amazing and when the front starts to push wide its easy to get it back on track.
Michelins was always going to aquaplane when hitting the puddles on motorway and the transition from grip to slide was not very smooth.
On damp road not much difference, but when it pours Michelins are no match to GY Assy3

Ben patey on facebook is doing the 235 35 19 full set as follows:

Supersports £550
PS4s £575

Includes delivery
No fitting though.

Do a search on there for him as he has some cracking deals.
