Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's - not happy

I am beginning to loose faith in these tyres. Yes they give good wear, good grip wet and dry, but i have just had to replace another tyre due to very uneven wear on it. Its the 3rd tyre in 40k miles.

And before peeps saying its my suspension/tracking etc, believe me everything is as it should be due to numerous checks by the dealers and specialists. Its happenned on a tyre on the front o/s and both the rear n/s and o/s. When you look at the tyre its developed bumps all over its surface. Its happenned on tyres with different mileages, ie, 4k, 9k and 11k. Each time the tyre was sent back to Goodyear who basically blank me.

Anyone else had problems?

I ran about 7 sets of F1's on my golf over the 130k I had her & had no issues what so ever & will be replaceing the P-ZERO OEM's once there spent with F1's

I'd suggest a trip to a wheel alignment place, should only cost £30-£40

guess i am unlucky, but i do know of others having the same problem. As said, everything is better than factory as far as wheel alignment, tracking. All suspension units checked as well - no leaks. Maybe its an LCR thing. Hope the K1 likes em as i will still be replacing the pirellis with them once there worn out as they do give better performance.

ruddmeister had an issue with GSD3 which turned out to be a shock issue.
unsure if its the same issue, depends what 'bumps' mean. I cant find the thread, but if remember rightly the tyre surface was 'wavey'...

run your hand over the surface of the tyre and you feel a series of peaks and troughs. My tyre dealer looks sheepish each time i go back. He says its def a fault with the construction of the tyre but trying to get a company the size of Goodyear to admit it is another issue.
