id say wire in your own led strips that way they wont blow all the time.
you could either mount them in the bulb holder or along the same line as where the bulbs are mounted but on the bumper if that makes sence.

Don't think I will bother TBH. When these blow (probably tomorrow) I will just bung the old bulbs back in!

i can understand that it is a bit of great length to go to just so the police can see your number plate in a better colour.

My LED number plate light bulbs didnt last two seconds. And the interior lights soon followed. Been through a few sets of front sidelights but these better quality bulbs seem alot better and have lasted quite a while. The 4 little LED's and the dome ones from Halfords, made by Prism really dont seem to last two shakes of a lambs giblets.
