Not sure about the new tip. Did you just have the old one cut down? It looks like a cut off because it doesn't have a rolled in edge. When I had my exhaust done both tips were cut down by a few inches...the bits that were left over look like what you've had fitted

No mate it's what I wanted! It's a straight cut tip and not supposed to be rolled in... will look better when its a bit dirty! As with some things it just looks better in real life. Was thinking of painting it matte black anyway...

Yes, love the extra power. It's amazing what a remap can get from an engine! Not driven it since I got it done as I am at the folks for Xmas... can't wait to take it out when I get home! Best money spent on the car so far I think.

it is drying out here so might go for a spin tomorrow!its ok here now..think my driving style will need refining a bit if i want my tyres last..traction cant keep up lol

Just thinking about the benefits of my remap today so I thought I would post the results...
Pre-remap
JKM dyno day (March 2009)....... 157 bhp and 180 lb/ft torque
P-Torque dyno (December 2009).......163 bhp and 185 lb/ft torque
Post remap
P-Torque Stage 1 dyno (December 2009).......229 bhp and 232 lb/ft torque (temperature was -2 degrees...)
Therefore, bhp is up by 40% and torque is up by 25%.
Not really had much of a chance to drive it since getting the remap due to the crap weather and not really being at home long enough
I am going to clean it tomorrow AM too...

Remap is immense.

cheers mike we had inset today no pupils meant the day dragged and we worked extra time today to cover the twilight for summer term
