Hi Peeps,

Ive got a flip key to code to my Ibiza mk3 cupra...

Ive read up on the following page:

http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/key-matching.html

and I have VAG.com and the cable etc so i can do that kind of thing...

what im asking is how on earth do i get hold of the 7 digit skn as i don't have the little thing that came with the original key with the code on it.....

Can i get a SKN off the dealer?

Or would have i have to pay for them code the key to the car and would they do it with a 3rd party flip key?

Any help greatly appreciated..

Rich

I will read your SKC code for you. I live pretty close to you.
I also have a little program that changes a 4 digit SKC code to a 7 digit one and visa versa.
If you need the program just email me at [email protected].

Just the same as the dealers.
The SKC code is calculated from a 12 digit number held in the instruments and ecu's of IMMO3 cars.

Not through vag-com.
As I understand the dealers plug into the car and connect to the Seat,or VW factory for the login code.
I use a different system. On an arosa, polo, sharan etc... I read an eprom in the immobiliser box. On a leon or golf etc.. I read the instruments through the OBD11 port.
