Went for a tyre change the other day and ever since the front left wheel makes a rubbing noise, can only hear it when going slowly and on full left, jacked it up this morning looking for play and to look at the CV - No play and the CV had no obvious wear. Think it could be brake related but unsure.

Thoughts ?

bolts tight?
alloys have spigot rings? check you dont have two on one side or one missing?

remove wheel, use a brush to clean alloy and hub where they meet.
otherwise could it be tyre on arch or arch liner?

Standard alloys. Don't rub on the arch liner and no spigots, bolts tight to specs. Will try a wire brush on the hub next, come back to you soon

Okay, got the car in the air before. Looks like the pads are touching the disk when on full lock but not when straight, This was only after I had a tyre change a couple days ago

EDIT: Am I right in thinking a bad CV would make a clicking noise rather than a grinding ?
