GRRR...2nd window in two weeks

i have an 03 ibiza 3 door. and very pis*** off. 2 windows have collapsed into the door frame in 2 weeks. What have people had quotes wise from the stealers?

any way in which i can argue that its a common fault and do it for free? lol

have they smashed then? personally ive never heard of this problem before, ive heard of the rear windows exploading, but never the windows falling into the doors.

naah they've jus slippied down into the door frame, jus through searching i've seen alot of people who've had this problem..these bloody cheap plastic clips keeping the window inplace!

would've thought seat had fixed this problem by now?

Do a search on ukmkivs.net for the same fault on the mk4 Golf,
there's a mod you can do to stop this fault from occuring!!!

I take it you mean the window regulators have failed/broken? If it's any consolation, both of mine died on my old Ibiza and I was driving around with blocks of wood in the door for a few days to hold the window up. Quite a common fault unfortunately according to the service manager at the time.
