is this your evolution of SPT m0rk into boost control.
Direct from your local B&Q store
:D

literally months of development

I think the whole mapping can of worms just gets bigger when it comes to who can actually do what.

talking the talk, walking the walk, but not quite delivering. it's a shame that people would never entertain a 'map off'

true it does m0rk.
from my perspective, whats previously been done on my motor on std me7, on 6k0 files, has produced the goods, from CC.

Personalities are more of an influence over this particular debate tho, as we know the parties involved, and I would describe some of them as "Marmite"

:)

Starting to think that standalone is a better idea, apart from the DBW issue?? Launch control, gear dependant boost, "live" boost control, datalogging etc etc.

What's that "standalone" software that runs on me7, again?

the cause of this issue has been found tobe wrong spring in dv.............

can believe something soo minor has caused soo much issue.

just got to sort a few bits out as it idling very lean but im defo in the 12's for 1/4mile now as its a hell of a lot faster :D

All those problems caused by having the wrong spring in the dv?

So is it going back for the map to be finished or are you happy with it the way it is now hooch?

Glad you have found the problem though.

So what spring did you have in then? And what have you changed to? DV springs have caused me no end of bother before!!!

so it was dv flutter and not surge then?

what the noise was, was the wastegate chattering.

basicly i had a blue spring. hadnt even touched it from my last set up last year so i didnt even think of it silly enough.

so the dv wasnt opening when boost built up to control it. it was then over boosting, throttle body would close so the gauge wouldnt read it (tapped into mani). it would then cause higher pressure on the under side of my wastegate and less on the top due to the bleed valve and wastegate would open....then get to a desired boost so close, open, close etc......causing the noise and problem.

why a mapper couldnt see that i dont know. and why they thought it was surge is beyond me.

so im gonna need the map tweeked again but it is massively faster :D

so lifting the Dv off its seat?

Blue spring?? jeez... thats hard.
mine ran yellow on 2.2bar boost on 007P

Your talking DV and wastegate here... which ports are you using on the Tial? lower & upper one?

dan cupra. not too far from me...whos cars has he mapped?

HoocH

not sure who's car he has mapped, he mapped mine, well say mapped, copied a file onto it, but i know he wrote maps for revo, forge, and i think he has done some work for custom code aswell. He's a real nice guy too....

currently running green as thats all i have. but i may buy a bigger DV to be sure it isnt a restriction.

yes bill lower and upper
tbh honest i forgot blue was in there

i have a supersize DV off Forge.. not sure what number it is..

you can just about see it here near the turbo inlet
