I am also having a hard time understanding how any tuner can say 630's are too big??? And i find it even harder that 440's can produce 460bhp. I run 630's on my k04'd Mk4 without any issues.

My XX fabs modified manifold should be back in my hands again today. Like Hooch said, i wouldnt mind taking it off for a repair if it took an hour or so, but it does take ages.

so you too run an RS fabs manifold and have had to send it back for repair?

No, im running a JBS manifold, but due to needing an external gate after the internal gate proved to be far too small, i needed to get it modded. JBS wouldnt do it and told me i had to buy another new manifold[:@] So I gave it to XX to alter. They were shocked at how well made the JBS one was made and the 5mm thick steel used, guess thats why it used to have a lifetime warranty. XX modded it using 1.5mm. Guess what happened to that after 3 runs on low boost?

Any way, not gonna steal this thread. But i could write an essay or the crap that has happened to my car over the last few months.

I really dont know why I havent! Admittedly I havent read it all cos it's all of about 50 pages long! But from about the 1/4 of what I have read it's very impressive! Must be a right laugh to drive. :D
 
my flange had supports welded to it, little buttraces (sp) to spread the load to the sides of the collector so not reliant on the flange to collector weld for all support. Works perfectly. I'm glad and lucky I dealt with Primary Designs.
