Im going to buy some gauges 52mm for my nomad pillar mount but i am stuck what do people think of the dials ive mentioned please vote for which ones you would like

Spa Design dual gauges

Defil link meter Bf

or

Autometer gauges.


or any other suggestions of what looks good. thanks

Autometer Phantom 2's get my choice, they illuminate just like the originals, only 1 member with one though and he hasn't posted any pics yet.

I have the normal Phantoms with red LEDs in mine.

SPA's all the way, i had three in an old rs turbo i had, great dials, they glow red too, not far off the colour of the standard dials

ive got phantoms fitted to mine and love them!! wouldnt change them!! ... got them in the states so paid a lot less for them, might be worth a look on ebay.com for them

the phantom II's do look really good tho... id like to see them in the flesh

Got pahntoms aswell with the red leds but have sprayed the bezel silver awaiting my 30psi in the post as my current one is only 20psi on go`s off the scale!

If you sprayed the bezels silver they will now be identical to Autometer Ultra Lites.

Phantoms with red LED's fitted:

The phantom 2's are similar but they illuminate in the same way as the original clocks i.e. the digits and needles illuminate not the face.

yeh i know, i managed to get my gauges 2nd on alot cheaper than new so just decided to spray the bezels silver as i preferd that look.

Its me with the phantom IIs... and yea.. it is a shame they light up white...

Before fitting I did try to take it apart to change the LED... but I was a bit short of time on that day and just put it on as -is... which is why I havent posted pictures... they really need to be changed to red... once done they should look perfectly matched to the standard dials.

The Gauge is also a total bitch to get apart... I spent 10 mins or so but couldn't see how it would come apart to be honest.

I need to take it off again anyway as I didn't fit the velcro to the back of the pod and the occasional rattle is annoying me... will keep you all posted.

Do like those "R" gauges in the holder... but I just couldn't live without the cubby hole for my phone / change / pocket fillings... so my R Gauge holder is for sale if anyone wants it.
