Nope no wobble and the tyre was almost to the wire......

i can also see why you be untrusting as anyone wants a free blag now and then - but the dealer actually told me the tracking was out before I had the car and that they'd sorted the vibration out... slap a new tyre on and oh my you get white finger from driving over 70 (which i wouldnt condone :))

H

Not a case of wanting a free blag, just seems a little odd that the kink was so bad yet only came to light when a new tyre was put on. I guess if the wheel AND tyre were damaged then the wobble could have been masked by one cancelling out the other .....

However if the dealer sorted the tracking out and sorted out the vibration, how the heck did they not notice the state of the wheel.

Because imo dealers are a bunch of ******s.

They love you and would die for you until you sign and drive then its a case of well I wouldnt piss in your mouth if your teeth were on fire.

But i can see your train of thought - i thought myself that i must have done it but for me to do that sort of damage and not think to myself jesus what have i just hit...

will give it another 40 mins and if nothing form the dealer then I'm gonna call em again.
