As my previous post I have now replaced air temp sensor and all four coils seams to be fine ticking over and revving standing still but when you set off it still misses at around 3500 rpm but then some times carries on threw the revs fine any mote ideas still no eml on

Yeh plugs and coils it seams to be better since had the coils but still not right at all in fact I would say it's dangerous to drive as it boosts some times and not others

Not sure it was a little lumpy at tick over at first but ran fine then it's when I get to 3500rpm it seams to be moss firing and sounding abit like a scoobie I have replaced coils all of them and some times it boost up and is fine when I am at 3500 the boost is around 10 psi really need help with this one as only had car a few days and chucked almost all my money at it now

Is that the symptoms of a map sensor also would it put an engine management on

Mansfeild are coming to plug it in see if there's any codes would a boost leak cause it to basically splutter but work on the odd time

When i had a leak it would drive fine until u put it under full load. So at about 3k on full boost it would splutter and really struggle.

I checked the pipes and found my Intercooler pipe was loose. A quick tighten with a screwdriver and job done, car was running sweet.

Pipes can come loose sometimes

I understand your frustration, when i bought mine I had annoying niggly problems on it and it took me a few months before I ironed them all out. But car has been good as gold since and Ive had mine 6 years now

Would it cause black smoke when I hit 3500rpm and also it's using alot of fuel

The black smoke will be unburnt fuel so it's likely that there is unmetered air going in and the lambda sensor is getting more fuel dumped in as a result of its readings. Check the boost hose connections round the system and hopefully you'll find your issue!

It was leaking boost near turbo he put new clip on and it was fine What an idiot I feel thanks for all your help

At least u got it sorted, good stuff.

And no need to worry, thats what these forums are for. The amount of dumb stuff Ive had answered over the years has helped me :)
