I haven't had any problems with the aux yet, but I can only imagine it's as good as the Aux lead you use.

Saying that, it was only playing out through my left speakers this morning - so maybe I need to do some tweaking to the interface.

I wouldn't rule it out just yet. It's entirely possible the default settings for auxillary input are badly alligned. I'll let you know later when I get in from work.

turns out I was using an old mono-lead, not a stereo one.

Stupid mistake.

The "bad reviews" you heard about the Aux input were idiots (like me) using mono-leads :)

Their loss!

Well from general use, i've decided the lack of an obvious "ATT" button is a bit silly, but hardly a big deal - I can just turn the volume down the old-fashioned way.

Some people might find one or two of the buttons a bit small, personally that doesn't bother me at all.

If you're an audiophile, you'd probably notice sound quality more than me - however as i'm not one, all I can say is that the sound is most definitely better than the standard Aura unit.

Plus it looks the nuts, matches my CDC and interior nicely - and for a CDC unit, it also has a CD drive in it too, meaning I barely even need to use my CDchanger now! Hmm, probably overkill ;)

Ha ha! It's easy to get side tracked when beuties are serving you isn't it?? Especially when they are all running around after you!! Not that I have had that though unfortunately. not in Guildford branch anyway, but not been there for a while. Will pop in and assess soon!
