Handbrake reaches roof!

Hi Peeps,

Been a while since ive posted a thread so here's one for someone to help me

Past couple of weeks my handbrake has starting to get slack..... the first 2-3 inches you can feel nothing been pulled i.e the cable is slack maybe? so now the handbrake is double- ing as arm rest...

is it just a case of tighting the cable? if so how?

Overtime your cable will stretch. It's better to adjust it from the adjuster to the caliper, but you can just do it from the cabin, there's a wee plastic bit you can lift up and wind back the nuts.

slack cable mate.

take the handbrake cover off in the centre console and there is two adjusting bolts to tension the cable
