have searched..windscreen sun visor Q?

been looking into getting my windows tinted for some time now, and i know all the laws on the front side windows etc etc..but something which i cant find covered is...how low can you have a sun visor across the windscreen and how dark can you have? im guessing there ARE limits as its illegal to tint the front screen PERIOD but...just curious as iv seen these lots lately...thanks for your time

your wipers are not meant to come in contact with the sunstrip, usually 2-3 inches lower than the top of the wiper blade will be fine, if you get what i mean. dont go too dark or you wont see the triffic lights change if you are at the front

Your windscreen wipers can't touch whatever you stick to the front windscreen otherwise it will fail the MOT. One way a few of my friends got round it in the days of modified Renault 5's and Novas was to fit a big sun strip and tiny wiper blades so they didn't meet.
